Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a cloud engineer with a passion for cloud computing and a strong understanding of AWS services and Azure Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Automate deployment and management processes
  • Monitor and optimize performance of cloud resources
  • Ensure data security and compliance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC
  • Experience with cloud automation tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Senior Linux System Administrator

Required Skills & Experience

· 7+ years’ experience working in a Linux environment

· Red hat

· Ansible

· Scripting

· PowerShell and Bash

· VMware

· SAN (EMC or S3)

· Strong project management and team leadership experience

Desired Skills & Experience

· Previous experience doing upgrades, migrations, and installs for servers

· Windows background

Linux Administrator duties and responsibilities

  • Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service
  • Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs
  • Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments
  • Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions
  • Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
  • Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware
  • Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
  • Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
  • Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes

Linux Administrator qualifications and requirements

  • Previous working experience as a Linux Administrator for (x) year(s)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar relevant degree
  • IN depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat.
  • Familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts
  • Experiance in Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting
  • Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP
  • Additional Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE and LPIC) will be considered an advantage
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
